Research & Method Standard

The standard the films are held to.

Current version 1.0 · Effective 2 August 2026

Every claim in these films is traced to a source and verified by a person before it is narrated. The research is recorded before the writing begins, and the script is checked against that record, line by line.

This document defines the standards governing that research: how evidence is weighed and sources are tested, how claims are confirmed and where the record is left uncertain, how translation and images are handled, how the work is funded, and how errors are corrected. Artificial intelligence assists production, drafting language and generating the score; it does not decide what the evidence shows, or how certain a statement may be. That judgment rests with a person, who is answerable for every claim. The standard is written to be checked, not taken on trust.
